setting JPEG resolution in MS Publisher

Maria

I am working in MS Publisher 2002, sp3 and wanting to set the resolution for
any JPEG I export. Is there a way to do this in this version?

In Publisher 2002 the default is 150 dpi when you right-click and save as a
picture. (.jpg or .png). You can open the picture in a Paint program and change
the resolution. 150 dpi is an acceptable print image however.

If you are looking to enhance the picture to make it "look better" there
are things that can be done. Upsampling an image that is 150 PPI to
300PPI isn't going to do anything other than describe the original
150PPI using more pixels.

Now if you want it to look better things like sharpening, color cast
removal, color balancing and such can be done. Send me a private email
and I will respond back with an email address you can send a sample PDF
to where we can optimize the image.
