Setting paper source for multiple worksheets

R

Randy

Hi,

I am trying to print multiple worksheets as one print job
and i need to set the paper source to a drawer 3 rather
than autoselection. Is there a way to select the Paper
Source option one time and have all the worksheets in the
job use that source? Right now only the first worksheet
in the group actually uses the "Drawer 3" that i
selected. The others use the "AutoSelect".

My "Drawer 3" has a special paper that i need all
worksheets to print on.

Thanks

Randy

What version of Excel are you using? This may be a bug.

Look into the visual basic method "PrintOut". I think that if you print
each worksheet to a separate file, then you might be able to print them
all at once using the same paper source.

You could also use a third-party macro utility that would perform the
following steps:
1. File/Print
2. Choose paper source
3. Click print
4. Go to next worksheet
5. Repeat from step 1

Also, may depend on printer, and not sure if Excel its self is capable of
selecting print tray.
