Hi, i have just installed my copy of Project 2007 so i am very new t
this. My question is, is it possible to set reminders and make the
alert you similar to what MS Exchange Server 2003 does in th
"Calender" section and tell the program to remind me in say, 10 mnute
before the event happens? If so can somebody tell me how this is don
on MS Project 2007.

Thank

Hello nvidia123,

There is a set reminder feature in Project 2007 which will place the
information about the Project task on the resource's Task List in
Outlook. Make sure you specify an email address for the resource and
then assign the resource. Show the Tracking toolbar and click the Set
Reminder button (small bell button). That should pop-up a dialog box
allowing you to select when you'd like the reminder to be set. The task
will be added to the resource's task list in Outlook and it's actually
the Outlook reminder which will display.

I hope this helps. Let us know how you get along.
