Shade alternate task lines

For better readability of Project printouts, is it possible to
shade(highlight) alternate task lines differently.
Also insertion of new task lines should be taken care of and shading moved
accordingly.

Sorry, Project doesn't have some of the highlighting capabilities
present in other MS applications. The best you can do is to alternate
font characteristics (e.g. color). That can be either done manually or
with a simple VBA macro.
