Shall I make many short quick projects or one project with subs

We're a medium size contractor with a lot of small, quick jobs and a few
large jobs. Being new to MS Project I'm not sure whether I should set up
individual projects or one project with many sub parts. I need to see the
overall timing and tasks before the company as a whole. I want to use MS
Project to coordinate all the projects and tasks we are committed to.

The simplest way to do this would be to create separate files for each
project, then have them all share the same Resource Pool. From there,
Project will create a Master Project containing all the subprojects for
you.
