I am trying to resize a simple rectangle auto shape. As I try to make it
taller than .39", it always reverts back to this size if I subsequently try
to resize it. IF I use the sizing chunk on the format tab in the ribbon, it
will maintain a larger height. But, if I grab the sizing corner, it snaps
back to .39â€. If I hold down the ALT key while dragging, it reverts back to
..39â€. Snap to grid and snap to objects are turned off.
I noticed when I was saving as a .ppt, this particular slide I am struggling
with did come up with a warning “The grouped shapes and any text in it cannot
be edited when using earlier versions of PowerPoint.†In case this was a
factor, I changed the file to a .pptx which did not help either.
I saw another post from earlier this year on this forum, but the issue
disappeared when the user saved, closed, reopened. This is not the case for
me; the problem persists.
Any ideas?
