Shared Border inside a table?

Hi, I'd like to make my site a specific width so it will look consistant in
different sized browser windows. The way I understand this it to put each
page in a table and specifiy the width. I'd like to know if Shared borders
can be used with this setup.

Yes but you have to consider the left and right borders in your page size
- or make everything in % width tables
