Shared Borders + Search Engines

I need expert advice, please.

I am using "Shared Borders" at my site. I have the
hyperlinks to other pages in those borders. When a search
engine's robot indexes my site, does it follow the
hyperlinks in shared borders, or do I need to put the
hyperlinks directly in each page?

I think the graphical buttons are done with javascript if you use a theme
with active graphics so the search engines probably won't follow them.
Otherwise the buttons look like regular linked images and it shouldn't be a
problem. What I do is use text links in shared border at the bottom of my
page. That way the links show up at the bottom of every page.

Shared border are design time tools
The html and links are hard coded in you saved html pages so the engines have no problem following the links - try view source on
the web
