Shared Borders

Is there a way to set up different sets of shared borders
within a single web? For instance, I have a group of
pages within one folder that I would want having different
shared borders than a group of pages in another folder
within the same web. All shared borders default to <meta
name="Microsoft Border" content="tb">. Setting up subwebs
isn't an option here for me. Would appreciate any
suggestions. Thanks.

Make a copy of the borders .htm files (top and bottom) in your _borders folder and edit those to the new styles you want (rename
them to say top_alt.htm and bot_alt.htm)
- note: they can not contain any FP nav bars
Then on your selected pages set Shared border to None and use Include Page - Insert Web Components Included content Page and browse
to your "alternate" page
Usually best to insert them in a single cell table at the top / bottom of your page
- or you can paste the below into your html view:
just after the <body> tag:

<div align="center"><table border="0" width="100%" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0"><tbody><tr><td><!--webbot bot="Include"
U-Include="_borders/top_alt.htm" TAG="BODY" --></td></tr></tbody></table></div>

and just before the </body> tag

<div align="center"><table border="0" width="100%" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0"><tbody><tr><td><!--webbot bot="Include"
U-Include="_borders/bot_alt.htm" TAG="BODY" --></td></tr></tbody></table></div>
