Shared Borders

Trying to add a jpg as a background to a top border. It
seems to add OK and I can see it in FP2002. Then when I
save, exit FP2002, and reenter FP2002......it's gone.

Any ideas??

Shared Border backgrounds have been buggy, but I just
tried your scenario on FP2002 SP-2 and it worked fine.
Here are some things to check:

o If you're not at Office XP SP-2, get there.
o Be sure to apply the border by opening a page that
uses it, then right-clicking the border, then choosing
Border Properties.
o When you exit the page, you may get two "Save" prompts.
Answer Yes to both.
o After saving, the _borders/_top.htm file should
contain a <body> tag like this:
<body background="background.jpg">
