Shared Workspace integration in Office/Word 2003

Hi,
I have two questions

1) What is the permission required for an user to create a "Shared
Workspace" in WSS site from word and put the document in the Workspace.

2) How can an user connect to an exisiting Shared Wrkspace from Word and
retrieve a document from that?

Wish this would work! Very frustrating that you always have to create
a new site in the Shared Workspace Task Pane rather than connect to an
existing site!
