SharePoint vs. MS Project Server and MS Project Web Access

For team members viewing mpp data... What should we consider between using
SharePoint Services vs. using MS Project Server and Project Web Access to
share MS Project 2003 data?

WE also use MS Access heavily... would SharePoint allow for easy sharing of
MS Access data, reports, forms etc?

Why not just run Access directly? Why must you use Sharepoint. Don't
see the point.
