Sharing a project

I am not familiar with Project so bear with me. Can you have a project
which is then shared with say 3 people on the same LAN all moding it at the
same time, how does that work or is an upgrade required?

Hi Dave,

Yes. No version/installation allows simultaneous read/write access
to a project file by more than one user.

I hope this helps. Let us know how you get along.

Hi Julie

Thanks for that - seems odd though that MS don't have a multi-user Project
application.

Can more than one view it at the same time?

You're welcome Dave. Yes, more than one person can *view* an MS
Project file but only one at a time for read/write access. The one
exception to this is resource pool files. A properly configured
resource pool file will allow multiple users to have the file opened
read-only but they can write their assignment values to the pool.
