sharing contacts with OE

I was told that Outlook and Outlook Express share the contacts. How can I
disable the contact sharing between the two if possible?

Thank you

I was told that Outlook and Outlook Express share the contacts.

Only if you've told them to. They don't by default.

Brian.Tillman is the name, smiths-aerospace.com is the domain.

I don't speak for Smiths, and Smiths doesn't speak for me.

You can check to see if they are sharing or not -- open Outlook Express's
Address Book, then click Tools | Options. There should be two radio
buttons -- one if you want to share, one if you don't. Note that this only
works in the Internet Mail Only mode of Outlook 2000, not
Corporate/Workgroup mode.
