Sharing resources pools across servers

We have physically separate servers for our US and UK
offices. The resource pools on each machine contain all
company resources, effectively making each resource
available for 40 hours in the US and for 40 hours in the
UK. Does anyone know how to overcome this duplication,
other than making sure that planners in each of the
offices talk to each other
