sharing tasks

i and my co-workers would like to view, edit and have the
ability to assign tasks using outlook. 1)is this
possible within outlook 2002? 2)if so, does it require
the use of MS exchange server? By the way, we don't have
exchange server

Nothing is built into Outlook 2002 for peer-to-peer sharing, except for
Internet free/busy times. See
