DURING INSTALLATION OF DISK 2 MS PUB 2000 OFFICE, IT
SHATTERED IN MY DRIVE, HOW CAN I REPLACE THIS WITHOUT
REPURCHASING THE ENTIRE SET. THE MANUFACTURER CLAIMS IT NO
LONGER HAS IT. YET IT TRY TO SELL ME 2003 OFFICE: WHICH I
DO NOT NEED. SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!

1) Lose the caps, it's considered yelling, is incredibly rude and makes
your posts very hard to read.

2) By 'manufacturer' I assume you mean your system manufacturer. If so,
it's OEM and MS will not and cannot assist you. Besides, all support for
2000 ended at the end of June this year.

3) You now have three choices - upgrade to 2003 (assuming your OS - 2000,
XP, 2003 - supports it), upgrade to XP (no longer sold, but some retailers
still have stock) or trawl eBay for 2000. You will receive no support from
MS (which this isn't, by the way, this is a peer-to-peer support group).

If none of the above appeals, you'll just have to do without.
