shockwave object missing three little dots...

Hi,

I am trying to embed a shockwave file following instructions found online.
In almost every case there is a note about clicking on the three dots ...
beside Custom. I am running PPT2003 and I don't see these dots. Is this for a
later version or am I missing the boat here?

Thanks!

Probably just says "ShockwaveFlash1" in that space. No worries...enter the
exact filepath in the Movie field, be sure Playing Property is True and you
should be good to go.

If the filename has been truncated because of the size of the window, then
you will receive the dots... Be aware, you cannot embed a shockwave file
only link to it.

Oh, I've seen this. I believe it's usually resolved by downloading the
latest Flash Player from the Adobe site. This updates the ActiveX control
PPT relies on for Flash.

Then again, it could be a problem with the latest player, in which case
you'll want to revert back a version or two.
