Show Email Address, Not Name

How would one show the email address in Outlook in addition to the
normal "From" field?

What you see in the From field is controlled by the sender.

Surely not. The email client surely can see the email address sent from?

Outlook Express will also display a friendly name if the sender has chosen
one. Double-click the contents of the From field and you'll see the real
address. What shows in the From field is what the sender chose for his or
her DIsplay name.
