Show phase percent of total project cost

Hi,
Is there any way to show what percent a particular phase of a project is
relative to the project's total cost (or hours)?

We're working on a presentation model that shows percent of cost (or hours
which for us is the same) in a chart. I can export to Excel and calculate the
percent and get a nice chart but I'd like to avoid that step.

Thanks!
Cindy

A Summary Task's work and cost will show how much a phase has consumed, but
it won't calculate a % of total. You could write a VBA macro to do this
though.

Hi Cindy,

- Are you looking for a pie chart?
(each slice represents a particular phase)
- Or a bar chart?
If a barchart, what would be the X axis? (time? Phase?)

DecisionEdge has an add-on charting program for Microsoft Project - here's
more:

If you respond, I would be happy to put a chart together for you:
(It sounds fairly straightforward)
