Shrinking Pages

I am having a problem with Word 2003 on XP on one specific machine.
When I open a document in Word "margins" are added to the right and bottom
of the page and effectively the document shrinks when printed.
This only happens on this machine - I have opened the same files on
different machines and they open as normal.
I have copied normal template from machine that is working ok and this one
and it doesn't fix it. I have re-installed word. I have tried to change
printers.. HELP.
The only thing that I can see that I don't understand are L marks on the
ruler at the top of the page....about 15 of them. The ruler stops at the page
width required for printing but page continues...

Hope you can understand the problem - better still if you can fix it ;-)

The shrinkage is usually a result of having tracked changes or comments in
the document. For the L shaped marks, see “Margin marks or crop marks appear
on each corner of the page when you open a document in Word 2002 or in Word
2003†at http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=839371
