+ Sign in contact

Hi,

I am using Outlook 2003 and I do Sync contact with my PPC. Normally I enter
the number using the format + sign then CountryCode, AreaCode (if
applicable) and then the number. However, in Outlook doesn't save the + sign
and when I try to enter it manually it doesn't save it. This is a problem
for me as whenever I do a Sync with my PPC I have to enter the + sign
manually in the PPC for all my contacts. Any one knows how can I let Outlook
2003 accept the entry of the + sign and keep there.

Thanks,
SAB

Outlook will save the + sign when you tell it to automatically enter the
country code in its Dialing options. Whether your synch software will honor
it is a matter for the makers of that software.

Thanks a lot... it worked fine.

I have one more question please.
After solving this problem and made a fresh sync found that all contacts
been sync correctly with the + sign, but found same number of blank contacts
as well. Is there a reason to get these blank contacts while they are not in
my PPC.

Thanks,
SAB

No information that would permit an answer. You found blank contacts where?

After sync between the PPC and Outlook, I found the blanks at Outlook
contacts lists.

Thanks

And if you delete those blank entries, what happens on the PPC?

If I delete the blank entries from the Outlook contact then it will be sync
fine... but when I do sync from the PPC to the PC, I always get this blank
entries which I have to delete them every time. I can't see any reason why
this happening.

Thanks,

Sounds to me like a PPC problem. Ask in the PPC group to see if they've
heard of it before.
