Signature and font sizes in Outlook 2003

Nic

I have set up a signature file with specific paragraph spacing and
font sizes and colours. When I create a new message, or reply to an
existing message, depending on the message format that gets picked,
the font sizes and paragraph spacings on my signature sometimes get
changed. Any new text I type in to the message comes out as the same
as the top of the 'original' signature file, but the signature then
looks nothing like the body of the message. I have a signature in 10
point and 8 point Arial with 6 point space after each paragraph, but
one part of the signature only has carriage returns instead of
paragraph marks so there is no spacing between the lines. I have set
the 'normal' default font in Word to be identical. In rich text
format, it just changes all the font in the signature to 12 point
Arial with no spacing around the paragraphs, even though new text I
type in at the top is 10 point with 6 point spacing between
paragraphs. I have tried using Word as the default editor and html as
the default format, but when I reply to other messages, the signature
file is mangled some other ways. Does anyone know how to get a
consistent signature file out of Outlook? I am using SP1 version.

Thanks,

Nic
