Sit Still!!!!

I have made a PPT slide with an image of a truck that starts off stage and
then slide by slide it backs it way on to the stage. However when I scroll
through the slides the background keeps shifting itself to try and keep the
image on the screen....but I dont care about the half that is off of the
screen. I just want the background to sit still. Any thoughts?

You are a little vague here.

If you insert the image of the truck as a background, then PowerPoint will
center the image in the slide. You may be better off turning off your
auto-layout 'features' and using 'insert picture' instead.

To turn off the auto-layout features, see:

I think you're talking about the way the PPT slide image "moves" in its
frame while in editing mode when you have an object off the edge of the
slide.

I don't know of a way around that when you're scrolling through slides. If
you use the zoom tool or the zoom box on the toolbar, and zoom to, say, 33%,
the slide won't jump quite as much. But it will still jump.
