My F drive failed and Office was loaded on it. I tried to reload Office to
my Master C drive but it won't let me get past the error screen that says F:
drive not found. What do I do?

Dave,
Possible that the easiest solution is to install another drive / name it f
and reinstall.
Windows installer is looking for the original installation point which was
your drive f. You could try this utility:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;290301
depending on your Windows version. Have not tried it with Windows XP sp2 and
as stated it is provided "as is" by Microsoft.
This may help in cleaning you c drive, so you can install there.
As you have found, Office and Windows should be installed on the same drive.

use the Office Online web based newsreader here:
http://www.microsoft.com/office/community/en-us/default.mspx
In Office System 2003 applications:
Help/Assistance Pane/open Communities

There is no requirement to install Office on the same drive as win*
It is simply the fact that the installer is finding info for the origonal
install parameters and thus trying to repair that install.
