How can you control the number of slides that will
advance with each mouse click, it would seem that the
default setting is (4)pages per left mouse click. Can
anyone give a pointer as where to control this feature.

If you set a slide's transition to advance on mouse click, one click of the
mouse will take you to the next slide. Maybe you need to tell us more if you
are seeing something different. Do you have some "hidden" slides? Are you
single clicking or double clicking? What are the slide transitions set to?
