Slide Design won't print

I downloaded the stacked books slide design from the MS website. It is the
design on both my masters. It shows up in the on screen slide show, but it
only prints on the first slide. In print preview it also shows it only on
the first slide. Does anyone know how I can fix this?

Go to View/Color-Grayscale/Black and White, then View/Master/Slide Master,
select the object you want to print, right-click it and choose Black and
White Settings. Choose something appropriate from the list.

Ah, crud. Scratch that. The background on this template was inserted using
Format/Background/Fill Effects/Picture, so we don't have any control over
the B/W settings. I don't know why it only prints on the title slide, unless
that's by design in PPT when you print grayscale and I just never noticed.

What if you select File/Print and choose Pure Black and White instead of
Grayscale? That seems to work here.

When i switch to pure black & wht, I lose all the graphics. I have a laser
printer so I went ahead and printed in color on a blk & wht printer. That
worked and gave me graphics on all pages.

I'm glad to hear you found something that worked for you.

For future reference, you can change the B/W and Grayscale printing of
objects on your slide by using the instructions in my first paragraph below.
That should work on your other graphics, but it wouldn't work on the
background because of the way it was inserted -- as a background fill.
