Slide master view opens on PP start-up

Hi,

When I open PowerPoint it automatically opens in 'slide master view'. I must
have somehow made this a default, but not sure how, why or how to get it back
to normal.

Thanks.

PPT opens in the view it was saved in. So just choose View|Normal and then
save the file.

Yes, I do realize this, but it is when I open a new PowerPoint presentation,
not an existing saved presentation.

I think you need to save your blank.pot file while in normal view.
