Slide Show not functioning on all presentations

My slide show does not work. I try it with all my previous presentations and
it does not work. It goes full screen when I press F5 but it cant advance to
the next slide. I get a error message that says : Powerpoint couldn't find
the hyperlink to ^ 0. What is this. I save my work and open it up in my
laptop and it runs ok. Is it my computer?

It sounds like you are trying to open your PowerPoint files on somebody
else's computer and it isn't working...is that correct? If so, then some of
the graphics or sounds in your original presentation are probably "linked"
rather than "embedded" into the presentation. So when the PowerPoint tries
to play on any computer besides yours it can't find the linked objects. You
could use the "Pack and Go" feature found under File and it would assemble
all the linked parts so that the presentation could play on somebody else's
computer.

If this problem is happening on your computer when you try to open the same
file then it's a different issue.

Yes it is another issue It does not work on my own computer! I can save it
and see it on someone elses computer but it is my powerpoint slide show
viewer that does not work with any presentation. I could work on it but I
cant run or preview it.
