Slide show on one monitor, work on other apps on another monitor

I would like to have a looping slide show run on one monitor and be able to
work in other applications on another. The problem is the slide show stops
when it is not the current window. Is there a way to give that slide show
some processing time even when it is not the current window?

You would need to use an add-in like PowerShow
(http://officeone.mvps.org/powershow/powershow.html). It allows you to keep
the slide show running while you work on something else on another monitor.
