Do you mean a smooth fade? No, this was introduced in PowerPoint 2002.
Do you mean a slide that flies in to cover the first? Yes, it is in the
listed transitions.
You may also have some luck using Crystal Graphics PowerPlugs, but in my
opinion, the money you spend on this product would be better spent upgrading
to a newer version of PowerPoint.
