slide transitions gone!?

I am in powerpoint 2002. And suddenly I discovered that
all of my slide transition options are no longer available
(except for the transition, 'None.') Any ideas?

Martin,

Strange... Maybe go to the "Help" menu and do a "Select and Repair".

If that doesn't work, I would suspect that a particular file is missing.
I'll go and look for it (on my computer, that is <g>). Can you see the
transitions there, but they are greyed out?
