Slideshow Gallery shows ALL thumbnails in top row

In all the slideshow-type galleries I make using FP 2003, the feature for
"Number of pictures per row" is perpetually greyed out and each gallery
simply displays ALL the thumbnails in the top row, rather than just 5:

The other galleries all work fine.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

I have only one gallery formatted in the slideshow type. It works okay.

I am wondering if there is a certain number of photos needed in order
for the arrows to show. In other words, maybe the 19 you have here are
not quite enough to display the five photos plus the two arrows. Try
adding one more photo to this gallery, just for a test (not that you
have to use it. It can be any photo you have handy.) I have 34 photos
in my slideshow gallery.

How many photos do your other slideshow galleries contain, the ones that
work fine? Twenty or more?

P.S. You might check the code for this gallery against the code for a
gallery that works alright. Just compare the two galleries.

LC,

This is a problem I have with my attempts at *all* slideshow galleries. The
only ones that don't format this way are the ones with 5 or less photos.

Do you have any working slideshow galleries that I could inspect? All the
ones I make with my FP 2003 turn out this way...

So if I understand correctly, your other "slideshow"-type galleries
contain five or fewer photos. You are not talking about montage,
horizontal, or vertical formatting, correct?

How many slides in each "slideshow" gallery?

You have FPage2003 right?

What steps do you take to create a "slideshow" gallery?

At some step are you asked if you want to save the images in a
particular Image folder? Do you either change it or say "yes"? You
would need to create a new folder in "Images" if needed, prior to this step.
