Clicking a URL in a message takes a LONG time to get loaded in a browser. I
haven't actually timed it but I'd say 1-2 minutes. This doesn't happen with
other applications. Opening attachments that don't require IE (Word,
PowerPoint, whatever) are just fine.
Any suggestions for how I got about trying to figure this out? I'm afraid
its going to come down to "re-install Outlook". I hate those answers -
because usually that is what you do when you don't know what else to do and
you HOPE that will solve the problem.
I've looked through the App and Sys event logs and it doesn't indicate
anything in particular. The OS is XP/Home, if anyone cares.
