slow loading outlook

Hey there

For some reason I have to wait like a minute for my
outlook to load. I was using outlook express before but
now its gone and I have outlook. I'm not sure why it
takes so long but its very annoying. I have a fast
computer too. Any suggestions would be great.

Do you have a large number of emails, contacts, etc.? If
so, you should do a little housecleaning (delete junk and
emptying Deleted Items) and then compact your .pst file.
Your .pst file holds everything in Outlook and the file
can get quite large which slows the process of opening
Outlook.
