Slowdown of Outlook

D

Dick Bosworth

I'm running Outlook from OfficeXP on a 2.8 gig pentium IV with 1 gig memory.
After XP has been running for a while, Outlook goes into creep mode.
Clicking on an email to open can take as much as 5 seconds. If I reboot,
Outlook runs normally for a while.

Does anyone know what might be happening here?

Thanks,

Dick Bosworth

Standard question - do you have Instant Messenger Integration active?
Tools-Options-Other.

I run MSN Messenger. Opening Tools-Options-(no Other tab) and don't see a
choice for "Integration"

I went to Options-Other in Outlook and disabled the instant messaging check
box. Ill let you know if this solves my problem.

Many thanks.
