Slowness when opening

I have just recently noticed that it is taking about a
minute to open Outlook. I do not have very many emails
stored in there and can not figure ouy why it is doing
this. Any ideas?

Are you using Outlook 2002? Try disabling Messenger integration. Tools->
Options-> tab Other

Try running Scanpst.exe on the PSTs in your profile.
This is typically located on c:\program files\common
files\system\mapi\1033\
