I am attempting to insert a sound file from my music folder into power point. When I run the presentation there is no sound attached. However, if I add a sound from the clip gallery, it plays just fine. How do I get my on file music to play?

This should help. Play sounds across multiple slides (A WAV runs through it)

What is the file format of the sound file? Are you inserting it via Insert

Movies and Sounds > Sound from File?
