sound when opened

hello everyone,

I need to send an e-mail to a colleague who has won the
company raffle. I have a .wav file of a fanfare of
trumpets and i would like it to play when he opens the e-
mail. Is this at all possible?

I'm assuming if it is possible then it would need some
vba script somewhere in there.

If you have Office 2000 or newer, you can use these steps.

1) Go to tools | options | mail format and enable Word as your email editor
2) Start a new HTML message
3) Right click on menu/toolbar and select web tools
4) Click in body
5) Select speaker icon and insert your wav
6) Compose the message


If using Outlook 98, you can use the steps mentioned at
