We installed SP1 and it all seemed to work correctly. I then went to the
Manage Queue in the server settings site and it gives the following error:

Go back to site
Error

Unknown Error
Troubleshoot issues with Windows SharePoint Services.

Please Help!!!

And actually the Administrative Restore does not work either, the error is:

System.Web.Services.Protocols.SoapException: ProjectServerError(s)
LastError=AdminReadArchivedProjectsListFailed Instructions: Pass this into
PSClientError constructor to access all error information
at
Microsoft.Office.Project.Server.WebService.Archive.ReadArchivedProjectsList()

So we fixed this. The problem was that we, for some reason, had sql 2000
express installed as the db, since the SP1 patch require sql 2005, some of
the information was not stored during the install because there was nowhere
to store it... there are schema changes....

We had to backup all our DBs (published, draft, etc), uninstall sql
completely from the machine where we have all our single server installation,
restore all DBs, force a reinstall of SP1, and it all worked ok.

It was just very weird, even for the microsoft guy, because there were no
signs at all of sql200 on that machine, yet the db that project server built
were all sql 2000....
