SP2 system shows SP3 after March security patches - which one?

Anita

One of the March 2008 security patches changes the registry so instead Office
2003 SP2 being listed, "About Microsoft Excel" or any Office product, shows
SP3. SP3 is not installed, which is verified by going to the Office update
site - it tells me that SP3 is not installed.

Any idea which patch/update number did the change?

Hi Anita,

Unfortunately the information in Help=>About in the apps themselves aren't always reliable. Check the 'Support information' link
for
Microsoft Office 2003 in Add/Remove Programs in the Windows control panel to see if you get different information.
