space problem in Outlook

Whenever I try to compose an email I get dots instead of spaces. I cannot
figure out what the problem is. Im using microsoft outlook 2003 and have
windows XP. Please help! Thanks.

Click the button with the paragraph symbol on the WordMail toolbar to turn
this off.

Thanks for your reply. Unfortunatly that didn't fix the problem... It just
brought the paragraph symbol and the dots are still there whenever I use
space. On either option of the paragraph the dots stay. Please help. This is
very frustrating. I have uninstalled the whole office 2003 program and
reinstalled it with no success. What could cause this problem??? I'm so
confused.

In Word, choose Tools | OPtions | View. Check your setttings under
Formatting Marks.
