Speaker Icon

When there is an audio on a slide must the speaker icon show on the slide when it is playing? If it is not necessary for it to be there for the audio to play how does one remove it?

Thank you,
Jean

You simply need to slide the icon off to the side of the active slide as it
is not needed onscreen.

Hi Jean,

You can make it disappear during slide show by choosing the "Hide while not
playing" setting for the sound file. How this is done depends on the
version of PowerPoint that you are using.

PPT 97/2000 -> Slide Show -> Custom Animation ... Play Settings tab in the
dialog
PPT 2002/2003 -> Slide Show -> Custom Animation ... Effect Options (from
effects drop down menu in Custom Animation task pane)
