special task property

can I set special properties for a task to allow me to produce reports
filtering these properties? example: I would like to set a property called
"documents" to produce a report showing me all tasks concerning project
documents I have to produce through all phases and subprojects

Hi Doris,

Welcome to this Microsoft Project newsgroup

You can use the Flag fields to mark tasks with like properties. You can
then filter on a particular Flag.

You can filter or group or sort on any property that a Task has.
Tasks have all of the built in properties, plus all of the "spares", which
are Text, Number, Date, Duration, Flag fields
In this case you could use a Text field and tag each Task with the word
"Document", then filter or group or sort on that.
