Speech recognition and Microsoft

speech recognition was installed in my system and is working in every program
applicable, with the exception of all of the office 2003 professional
programs. For instance , voce recognition works well in MSN messenger ,
Internet explorer, and has been used to create this message as well .
does anybody have a solution to this problem. All help is appreciated
