Spell check in English

How can I get Power Point to spell check in English other
than using the Tools, Language command? This happens on
more than one computer.

There should be a button on the tool bar that looks like a
tick mark with ABC above it. Its next to the print button
on my toolbar. Click this to launch the spell checker.

There is also the Spell As You Type feature, which marks a
red line under words PPt thinks are not the correct
spelling. This is enabled in: Tools - Options -
Spelling;enable spelling.
