Spell Check will not work!

I have Word 2002 on XP home. Everything works fine except the spell check. It tells me the spelling check is finished and despite a load of gobbledegook it says everything is fine. I have tried changing the language to UK (english) and unchecking the 'dont check spelling' box. Even if I then set this as default it will not work. I then go back into language and it is still set as US and all the boxes are checked! Help it is driving me mad and killing my spelling!

Try the instructions at
http://homepage.swissonline.ch/cindymeister/LangFmt.htm. You have to get all
the languages set to the same language (ie English UK for you), and then it
should be OK.
