Spellcheck changes page layout

Whenever I do a spellcheck in Word v11.2 and the document is in Page
Layout view, the document switches to Normal view. This behavior is
quite annoying. I see several posts, some from as far back as 1998,
reporting this behavior. I'm wondering when spellcheck will be fixed?
Is there a way to contact Microsoft and report this bug?

Intriguing. It never does that here. I'm in permapagelayout. I'd be
spitting chips if it ever happened to me.

Is there anything unusual in your documents? Language settings? Custom
Dictionary?

OK...2nd try...

Nothing unusual, but the problem probably stems from Word finding
spelling errors in the header of a document.

From what I've seen, the problem occurs whenever spellcheck finds an
error in a header.
