Spinning beach ball back!

CyberTaz,
Unfortunately, that Repair Disk Permission attempt did not cure my problem
with Word. Any other suggestions?

Sorry, you changed the Subject line so your new question is not associated
with the previous one and I can't remember what Bob told you...

Did he suggest replacing your Normal template? I suggest you should do
that.

Did he suggest decorrupting that document? I suggest that's your next step.

Quit Word and Delete your Normal template. Empty the Trash, then create a
new blank document. Then CAREFULLY copy everything except the last
paragraph mark into the new document.

That should fix it.

I suspect you have corrupted numbering in the document. That will beachball
it every time :)

Cheers

Hi John:

The original thread is ""Word" keeps freezing up". Repairing permissions was
the only suggestion made as yet - just to "level the playing field". Haven't
even clarified whether it is a _particular_ doc or more. You've picked up
quite nicely from there, of course ;-)

Thanks Bob:

Ah, right... At this age, I find it better not to rely too heavily on ...
Ummm... What's it called? Memory! That's it, memory!!

Cheers
