Split Cells Error (Drops text Down??)

A

Adam Thickett

Hey Peeps,

I'm editing a table and need to split a cell, but when i
split the cell the text is nudged down from the top of the
cell. I have checked that the vertical alignment is top
and have even reduced the top cell margin to zero but
still there is a gap at the top of the whole row??

Its difficult to explain so if you need more detail please
don't hesitate to ask

Thanks in advance

Adam :)

Does the text in the cell have any Space Before?

No, go to Format | Paragraph and see if there is any Space Before assigned
to the paragraph. But if the margin is at the top, that would affect text
placement as well (but surely it is 19mm and not .19mm?).
